The scale of Shabra’s business, both physically and geographically, combined with the strict industry legislation demanded by this sector, means their operations need to be run as efficiently and effectively as possible. The management team felt that their internal IT platform was not capable of providing for the future needs of the business.

There were concerns over the stability and scalability of the current system as the company experienced continued growth. Shabra contacted Sync IT to come in and carry out a review.

Our Solution:

Sync IT delivered the structured Technology Assessment which involves gaining an understanding of their business and their goals for the next 3 years, coupled with an in-depth technical review of the current setup. A detailed IT plan for Shabra was created from this assessment.

The key element of which was replacing all of their PC’s and backend systems with a new hybrid cloud platform utilising Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Server virtualisation. This technology platform means that Shabra can facilitate future growth in the business.

As Shabra did not have necessary IT expertise internally they engaged Sync IT to become their ‘virtual IT department’. We managed the rollout of this new platform, working with 3rd party software vendors that Shabra depend on to run their business, making the migration seamless.
